If I had to define myself then I would say I have a combined profile: as a Telecomunications Engineer, I am half Electronics Designer, half Web Developer. However, my professional path has lead me towards the internet projects, involving web applications, servers, databases, networking and other fields as a web master. On the other hand, my knowledge of Electronics enables me to face analog and digital hardware design and programming.
From a third point of view, I have also worked as a QA Team Leader for a multinational company in the field of games and multimedia, which gave me the opportunity to coordinate the efforts of three QA teams separated across the world (USA, The Netherlands and Spain / Switzerland).
Nice mixture, isn’t it? I am interested on technology over all, and despite my direct experience is related to web development projects, I am always willing to learn new platforms and techniques and to face new challenges. My ideal job integrates the best from both worlds to take advantage on the possibilities of the internet when interconnecting electronic autonomous devices. For instance, weather stations which send data to a server for later visualization through a web interface.
Technology is important, but also passion is. After all, people is what this is all about.
